When my son first started this school it was great when Mr. Vasen was the elementary principal. Since the past 6 years I have seen the school go down hill, and the teachers mindsets are disgusting. People who study children psychology and development should have the education to change our children's lives and education experience in positive ways. After years of disappointing experiences with PPS, I decided to enroll my daughter at ORCA, and for the first time in her life, she has straight As. Staff and faculty here are incredibly communicative and helpful, there are field trips and meetups for students and families to ensure a well-rounded socialization experience, and the quality of the education is better than you'd find at PPS (I'm a PhD candidate and have worked in education).
