Surface areas of the monument and preserve are always open, year around. Visitor centers are open seasonally. Caves are not accessible without a guided tour. Normal operations: During normal tour seasons the park offers fun and adventurous 90-minute ranger-led tours of the Oregon Caves from early spring through the mid-fall months, along with miles of hiking opportunities in the Siskiyou Mountains. Tour fee: $10 for adults, $7 for kids.

If you're claustrophobic think twice about going. I loved it. Incredible caverns.
Went in the off season caves were closed we were the only ones there. Amazing hiking saw some wildlife and built a snowman
It’s beautiful country up there I’m lucky to have it in my back yard the view from the top is always one of my favorites it’s approximately 19 miles up from town don’t forget to check out the visitor center on you’re way up they have some great stuff in there
