I got a call from Oregon Advanced Imaging. They received a referral from my primary doctor for an MRI. They said that they needed a copy of my surgery card so that they could get in contact with my surgeon for more information. I came in today and brought the card in. The receptionist made copy of the card and said she would get back to me after they had talked to the surgeon. She was very helpful and pleasant.
Still waiting to get my MRI scheduled. It's been over 2 weeks since my doctor's visit, and I called a couple times. Super frustrating 😤
My doctor told me I had possibly broke a vertebrae in my back (confirmed by xray), and I was referred to Oregon Advanced Imaging for an MRI. Within about 24 hours was when I saw the doctor referral and approval from my insurance for the MRI, but I waited over a weekend before calling in to try and schedule. When I first called, a nice man answered and told me it didn’t appear as if they had gotten the referral yet, but he suggested I would get a call soon since I had seen the approval. The x-ray tech was great, however, It’s been 6 days since my x-ray and the radiologist still hasn’t read or released the results to my doctor. Additionally, they will not answer the phone or return phone calls. Same thing happened about 6 months ago. Spend more and go somewhere else if you actually want to get your results in time to be helpful.
I was referred to Oregon Advanced Imaging in Medford for a lumbar MRI. They called on a Friday to schedule my appointment and were able to get me in the following Monday evening. Everyone from the scheduler, the receptionist and the actual MRI techs were so friendly as well as professional. And I had my results the next day. Since then, I have had to have my results sent to several Drs. Offices and Juliette has been so responsive and nice about doing this for me each time I've asked.
