These companies are an enormous rip off. They contract with events for Stay and Play and have completely unreasonable cancellation policies. They booked me in the wrong hotel 14 miles from the venue and won't change us to the correct one within walking distance of the venue. My only option is to cancel our reservation which is a month out an pay a $300 fee per room. Ridiculous!

I had an extremely disappointing experience this year while attending a conference in Pittsburgh with my students and faculty mentors. Kristen V mishandled the hotel booking process by miscommunicating with my cardholder regarding the payment for the rooms.
