The OSFL have such a wonderful and caring director, staff, and orchestra! They provide great educational opportunities with tasteful and powerful performances, I can not wait to see what they do next! The Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes is a truly wonderful non-profit organization.
I attended the Holiday Concert in December and could not believe how much I enjoyed the performance. This was the first time attending an OSFL concert and it won't be the last. I only wish I had started attending a long time ago. Watching the musicians as they played the wonderful pieces and Maestro Shimada as he conducted the Orchestra was my favorite part of the performance. It was the highlight of my holiday season! Thank you!!!!!
We love the orchestra and Toshi our director but we do not believe in using Facebook because they have not been a responsible company. Until we can attend concerts in CMoG auditorium or Clemens center we will miss our wonderful orchestra and the performers from within the orchestra. Is zoom a possible alternative?
A wonderful orchestra with a wonderful staff. From their Holiday Concert to their chamber concerts, I always enjoy the performances! They do so much for the youth in the community as well by having a youth orchestra and the Hertzog Competition. Toshi is a fantastic music director, Karen is a wonderful manager, and the players are just phenomenal. Always excited to see the OSFL!!!
