Good Hardware Store I like this store because it is easy to get someone to help you here. Their prices are higher than home depot but the convenience is worth it.
This place is awesome for hardware and lawn supplies. I have bought tons of plants from OSH, and they always flourish. And they usually have a good variety of plants to choose from (indoor and outdoor plants). I have also found lots of tools and other odds and ends here. They also have lawn furniture. They seem to have reasonable prices, and the employees seem relatively friendly.
If you can't get to a lowes or home depot, try OSH. They may have what you are looking for. The guy in plumbing (white hair) has all sorts of know-how too.
Great Service What I like best about an OSH is the great service they offer. People are very helpful in here, and don't laugh at you if you're not a big strong man who lived among tools all his life. They are nice and will help you very patiently find exactly what you need.
Great place This store is a lot smaller then Lowes or homedepot. Their service is much better also however. My favorite time to go to them is when they have the pay the tax sell twice a year.
Very good store, prices can be high. We love OSH. They are great for the selection and the location is SO convenient! Our only issue is that sometimes the prices can be higher than your Home Depot, etc. However, the store has a much smaller feel, so it's easier to get around, etc. It's worth the extra money!
Pretty good for a chain store I've had good experiences with OSH - they've always been good about taking returns, and their home and garden center will load heavy items into your car for you. Their prices seem to be a big higher than Home Depot, but I like shopping here more.
OSH is helpful when you move and need hardware for your furinture or kitchen. They of course, have a good nursery for plants and gardening. I have bought various paint for furinture and crafts and the staff was helpful in giving me tips for what I needed. If you want to do a project but need help the folks at OSH will help you out.
I have only been here a couple of times but I liked it. It is a very clean and orderly store and pretty easy to get to. There were a lot of people around willing to help and they were all very knowledgeable about what you might need and where to find it. I would definatly go back if I needed to.
