I had a referral. Everything was quite smooth. The specialist was excellent and the case manager was in contact. The Centre is 100% more accessable than the Mead Centre.
My daughter has been referred there .she gave up the first time she went there because she felt she wasn't getting the help she needed. Got referred back a second time through emergency this time was no better. All they did for her was not listen to what she needed asked her stupid questions then sent her on her merry way with more tablets. They are a disgrace to call them self a mental health centre. This is the single worst service I've ever encountered. They have no idea what they're doing and have created a situation where they actually increased the trauma I've been going through. They are argumentitive, arrogant and when I canned to complain the practice manager got very defensive and said "They've all done MCAT," Australia doesn't use MCAT. That for for US and Canada. Very let down, nothing but a disappointment left feeling completely lost,I do not recommend anyone going to this place if you are struggling, it will make you feel worse!!!! if I could give 0 Star ⭐ rating I would because it's the shoe that fits.
Handed me pills with no side effect sheet, didn't listen to anything I had to say and sent me away, whole process only lasted maybe 15-30 minutes. Only open between 8:00-4:00, meaning as I work there is no follow up either. Had to research the side effects of the prescribed medication and found there to be possible side effects with another medication I take. Called MHERL again during a mental heath crisis later that week, and they said someone from Orchard Avenue would contact me. No contact was made. ATT kept pressuring me... read more
