It disappoints me to have to write this because I was an active member for 7 years and loved the workouts and coaches. However, the owners, Nadine and Willie, don't seem to care about their members whatsoever. Nadine and Willie recently closed down the only location in Saskatoon and the Regina South location. I was a member of the Saskatoon location and in October when they announced they were shutting it down with very minimal notice, they promised refunds would be issued for membership fees already paid. Joining Orangetheory Fitness has been such a positive experience for me. Before this, I had never been part of a gym, but walking into the studio for the first time was not overwhelming or intimidating at all. The atmosphere is welcoming, supportive, and motivating. I’ve been a member for about six months now, and I truly can’t imagine not being part of this amazing community. Just show up and get a great workout.
One of the main reasons I chose OrangeTheory was the location and the fact they offered early evening classes (4:30, 545pm). I literally said this to the employees before signing anything. After not a full month of being a member, I received an email stating the South location will be closing in a week. There is now only one location in the city, on the oppsosite end. They charged my credit card for months while my membership was on a freeze. I called for weeks and still have been unable to get in contact with a manger. Very sad, as it’s an incredible workout and wonderful community. I’d love to see a resolution.
