I am appalled by the treatment of a vulnerable autistic child at the Orange Theory gym in Renton. On Monday, the 11th, this child went missing and sought refuge at the gym, but instead of helping him, the staff chose to call the police. This decision resulted in the child spending a couple of days in jail, where he was left with bruises. It's heartbreaking to see how this gym failed to support a vulnerable individual in need. I’m deeply troubled by the way staff at the Orange Theory gym in Renton handled a situation involving a vulnerable autistic child. This is by far the dirtiest gym I’ve ever been to. I actually saw a rat running around the gym, and when I told the staff, they didn’t seem to care at all like it was normal. The showers don’t even work, there’s no soap in the bathrooms, and everything feels neglected and filthy. It’s honestly disgusting. To make matters worse, my locker was broken into and my credit cards were stolen. I believe I was scammed, and the staff offered no real help or accountability. I absolutely love OrangeTheory! It’s super motivating, and I love being able to track my progress over time. After 3.5 years, I’m running so much faster and lifting heavier weights than I ever thought I could. The coaches at the Renton location are truly some of the best. I travel a lot for work and visit other OTF studios, and while those are great, the Renton coaches take encouragement and pushing you to the next level to a whole new standard. This studio stands out compared to others. I travel for work. I've been to 12 studios in WA, OR, AZ, TX and GA. This studio hands down has always been my favorite. Been going here for over 3 years. Coaches, SAs and Management are 👌 Studio is busy but clean, has a great variety of classes and the best weight selection/extras I've seen at any studio. Shout out to OTF Renton Fam 🙏🙌
