Had a terrible experience with Manager Raquel/ Rakel. I called and advised that my son was sick and that I wanted to change my class. She said there was nothing she could do and that I would have to pay for another class. I am a perspective customer and I am extremely appalled by this low level of customer service. I joined OT Smyrna in August 2020. It saved me during the pandemic because it was the only human interaction I got on a daily. The coaches were awesome and the front desk staff was friendly, kind and helpful. Currently (March 2026) I still enjoy the workouts, but the current manager at this location is very RUDE. My friend, who also attends Orangetheory at this location, had mentioned to me a few weeks before my experience that the manager was rude to her, and she felt that she was only kind to certain members. PLEASE avoid doing business with this Orange Theory location due to its lack of integrity and professionalism. I signed up with (OTF) in September based on false information from Nathan, who said a military discount would be provided because I am a veteran. I was also not informed that I would be committed to a twelve-month contract due to the special rate offered at that time. I’ve been a loyal member of OTF Smyrna for nearly 3 years, just finished my 700th class and have always loved being part of the community. But unfortunately, my recent experience has been frustrating and disappointing. In June, I was asked to create artwork for the studio in exchange for a $50 membership discount.
