I’ve been a loyal member of OTF Smyrna for nearly 3 years, just finished my 700th class and have always loved being part of the community. But unfortunately, my recent experience has been frustrating and disappointing. In June, I was asked to create artwork for the studio in exchange for a $50 membership discount. I find it interesting that after Jenn spoke up and told the truth, within just a few hours Nathan suddenly had members posting glowing reviews to bury her comments. Some of those “positive” reviews are from people I personally know it’s just sad. Jenn isn’t lying. Nathan is lazy. All 20 of us in the group chat can’t be lying and saying the same thing! I have waited a long time to do a review. Working out is not a typically enjoyable experience for me, so status quo is to just show up and get through it and leave. The last few months have been different at the studio. Nathan, the office manager goes above and beyond to make me feel seen when I am there, and noticeably absent when I am not.
