I’ve never been so upset in my life. We have been taking our dogs here for years. After this last visit, we will NEVER go there again. Last week, our dog of 17 years was ready to cross the rainbow bridge. We wanted him to go peacefully; however, this experience was far from that. Instead of the doctor taking his time to ensure he placed the shot in a vein, he completely missed and shot our poor old guy in the leg. Pretty pathetic service. We went to this vet for years when our dog was fine, but when she developed a persistent limp in her hind leg, this vet took blood tests and x-rays worth $600 and told us that nothing was wrong with her! In addition, he prescribed an anti-inflammatory med for her, which helped, but only for 12 days. He refused refilling it after 12 days telling us that he needs to do more blood work - this is a money-hungry outfit + an incompetent provider. Dont go to this vet – I went to Orange village animal hospital for the first time for my cat who got sick very fast. I called that day for an appointment and they said I could come in so I thought that was good but I think now it is cause maybe no one goes there. When I first walked in, it smelled very bad like pee. There are a bunch of hamsters and other things when you walk in and they are dirty and smell. I feel bad for them. great place to take you animal – on thursday night my cat baby dislocated her jaw. i took her down to metro in akron and they told me she required surgery which would cost over 2000$ and i am a full time student with no way to access that kind of money. and after some research i found orange village and they took such good care of her and only charged me 500 which is very considerably less than metro. it seemed metro was in it for the money and not the love and care and well being of the animals. which isnt that the reason p... read more
