I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with Orange & Rockland. Despite living in an area that does not typically experience frequent outages, I continue to face random power losses with little to no explanation. When I reached out to customer service, I was advised to purchase a generator since I work from home — which I found to be an unreasonable suggestion. For delivery: they receive right at 830 am no earlier and stop about 3 i think but you can arrive on site and wait before then...no overnight parking however I was able to park next door at hardware store Noone bothered me so of course park at own risk...unloaded in about 45 minutes once guy came out

I have lived in 7 different towns in NJ and never once dealt with such frequent electric problems as with this company. The section of West Milford I moved to is stuck with O and R. I lived in Vernon, a more rural area then where I am now, and never dealt with power outages like I have here. Even on clear days with rain and no wind, somehow the power goes out. I was out of the country for two weeks and my home was empty while I was gone yet my utility bill did not go down. When I inquired about this the first time I was told that it was because my refrigerator was still plugged in. I normally work 10 hours a day from home and use two monitors, a laptop, a printer, a tv, lights, and run the AC. I unplugged everything but the stove and refrigerator before I left.
