Having had the pleasure of shooting pool here since the late 1990s, the Monkey is something of an institution at this point, almost immune to the world outside its heavy metal front door. Nondescript exterior, but a fantastic array of pool and billiards tables inside, well-maintained, clean and comfortable. A bit raucous when busy on Saturdays but absolute heaven when it is a bit quieter on weekday afternoons, particularly if you manage a corner table at the back of the hall.
