Just had to have Kady euthanized. She has never been sick. Took her to the vet for checkup and all the sudden she is in respiratory distress. Rushed her to Orange County Animal Emergency Service , P.C. in Middletown. First thing they want to discuss is how much it's going to cost. I didn't have 4-6 thousand dollars. Then they give her the lethal shot only to discover that the catheter is no longer in the vein.
