I had a very positive experience in the ER at Orange Coast, I went in very early morning around 3:30AM and was promptly registered and triaged with the intake nurse. Shortly after, Dr. Nguyen met with me to discuss my symptoms and I was started on IV fluids shortly after. Everyone from the nurse who started my IV to the imaging tech to the ultrasound team and my ER nurse were attentive and caring. My wife unexpectedly needed emergency care while we were traveling from out of state, and we had no idea where to go. We’re very grateful we ended up here. Even though the ER was fairly busy, the front desk and triage staff got her checked in and evaluated very quickly. Once they recognized that her vital signs were concerning, they acted promptly to have her seen much sooner. Went in for severe sunburn and correlating symptoms. While the supporting staff was amazing and helpful, when I talked to Dr. Le, he was incredibly dismissive of my symptoms and was clearly frustrated when I used the term “sun poisoning.” While it isn’t a medical term, I wish he would have listened to me and taken me seriously. I will not be returning to this emergency room.

I had a very good experience with this er when I was in agony from Kidney stones. I've worked in healthcare off and on since 1987. I been around the block. They were kind, professional, and went right to work to help me feel better. Thank you Dr. David Chou and all the staff and nurses.
