Absolutely horrible service from supervisors that left a client of mine and customer of Orange and Rockland without power while having two young children in the home. Buckle up, this is a good one. I received a call from my client that they had an HVAC tech to their home to troubleshoot a unit. Traced it to fluctuating voltage and was advised to contact their utility (O&R). Terrible company!
I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with Orange & Rockland. Despite living in an area that does not typically experience frequent outages, I continue to face random power losses with little to no explanation. When I reached out to customer service, I was advised to purchase a generator since I work from home — which I found to be an unreasonable suggestion. I have lived in 7 different towns in NJ and never once dealt with such frequent electric problems as with this company. The section of West Milford I moved to is stuck with O and R. I lived in Vernon, a more rural area then where I am now, and never dealt with power outages like I have here. Even on clear days with rain and no wind, somehow the power goes out.
