Daughter needed 3 wisdom teeth out before returning to college so we were in a bit of a hurry.....and boy did it cost me. The estimate over the phone was quite a bit different from what we were told in the consultation room just before the surgery, and even then it wasn't quite clear what the charges would be due to the amount of nitrous & anesthesia that may be needed and the condition of the wisdom teeth, and all the other tie in charge being thrown at us. $500 for just a consult is insane. Keep in mind, when I called and asked how much it would be, the lady who answered the phone told me it was only going to be $200 just for the consult.
What an excellent crew of caring, expedient, and professional people. The care given to my friend who was in traumatic pain was bar-none. The pace was fast moving and while it caught me off guard, there was no lack in professionalism and extreme capability and diligence in either Dr. Nelson of his staff. Chris was over the top helpful with every need. I can’t say enough good things about this practice. I’ve been getting Botox from Dr. Nelson for a couple of years now & I have to say... it’s the only doctor’s office that I actually look forward to going to! When you walk into East End Oral Surgery, you immediately feel a homey vibe and you’ll be greeted by Chrys, who is just so kind and beautiful- inside and out. Dr.Nelson is great! I went to him to have my wisdom teeth extracted and he was so helpful and compassionate in explaining the procedure and during my recovery would make sure I was doing okay. He is the only oral surgeon I will ever go to.
