Waited for an hour and a half for my mother to be seen by the oral surgeon. We were told at one point it'd be 5 minutes, only to still be sitting here half an hour later without seeing a doctor. Sitting in this cesspit of American Healthcare while writing this review.
Dr. Sacks used to be my go to oral surgeon but is now out of my network so I was referred to Dr. James Pezzolo and was not disappointed. He had to do a pretty tough extraction but I didn’t feel anything. He checked to make sure I was ok the whole time and voila. Success. The office is extremely high tech, immaculate, has generous seating and is easy to get to. Also a big plus, there are outlets to charge your phone located above almost every seat. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Progressive Oral Surgery for my son’s wisdom teeth extractions. I want to begin by saying that I am a healthcare provider with Northwell, and this office—particularly Dr. Sachs—came highly recommended by our trusted primary dentist, whom we’ve seen for over 20 years and deeply respect. These guys are good! I was properly evaluated prior to the surgery. The Dr explained why I couldn't be put to sleep, but he sedated me anyway, and I didn't feel or remember anything. Highly recommended
