Psychologists are great but they charge through the roof and will wipe out your child's NDIS budget before delivering any work. Northcott actually had to get involved in order to obtain my son's behaviour support plan, which was months overdue. I haven't heard from his psychologist in quite some time now but they continue to send invoices. Zoe was amazing. So welcoming and supportive. She made us feel so comfortable.
Highly recommend Madeleine Patience. She took the time to explain everything I needed help understanding and was incredibly caring throughout the process.
We did not have a positive experience with the psychologist we saw at this practice. We felt that assumptions were often made without sufficient effort to understand our specific circumstances, and the communication at times felt judgmental rather than supportive. When we explained that certain strategies were not working for us, we felt this was interpreted as a lack of effort rather than an opportunity to adjust the approach, despite us genuinely trying.
