Worst experience by far! Been fighting with a prior authorization with them for 2 years for a medication. Multiple doctors sent over the request it was denied multiple times. Multiple appeals done by physicians that were denied, then when the were sent everything that said they needed they cancelled the request due to it being denied two times already. It’s been denied 16 times over the last 2 years.
They are the absolute worst! Day they will expedite shipping and the medications show up 10 days later. Fax numbers for the provider to send in information are bad numbers. Randomly change brands with no regards to allergies then get told by them that's what they have and it's the same thing, so if you can't take it fins another pharmacy and pay out of pocket. This company should not be able to do business. Horrible customer service, horrible experience. They dont give a shit about what their customers say and will do whatever they want. If there was a way for me to use another company I would, unfortunately the other shitty company United Health Care uses them.
We've had trouble with Optum before but now we are at a standstill. Optum seems to be down, or going out of business or something. We need our prescriptions (having trusted that we would be able to do so) and now their system does not recognize us or our insurance policy. So they will send my husband's prescription but the cost will be $651 instead of the usual $84 we paid. Useless waste of resources and time. Their employees would have more fulfilling and useful careers. If they would go be gas station clerks, I have never dealt with a company that was so mismanaged, misdirected, and couldn’t complete the most simple of requests. What took Amazon pharmacy 15 minutes this company could not pull off in four months.
