Dr. Guido is great but his staff may as well not be there. It takes several phone calls and visits to get anything accomplished, including appointments and reordering equipment. Straight up lie when asked why the equipment was delayed with no communication (tried to blame it on insurance, but insurance insists they never reached out in any capacity). Lazy and passive regarding serious medical issues. No care at all for the patient's well being.
Limited staffing under new management. Limited services provided to Medicare Patients. Difficult to obtain information on replenishing supplies and not in accordance with companies they cite as suppliers. Much better under former owners. Very sad. Staff is doing all they can with what they are given to work with.
I really like my doctor, but the rest of the office staff, not so much. They aren't rude, but there is very little follow through and they seem to lack basic knowledge of patient's rights. I did like them much better before the name change.
This place used to be very good back when it was New Mexico Sleep Medicine. Now, you have to wait 6 months for an appointment. The nurses/techs can't be bothered to do their job and are rude if you insist. After my initial machine broke they saddled me with a used one that "had been turned in by a medicare patient because medicare didn't like those machines anymore". Very poor service from this location. My boyfriend had to call these people weekly in order to get them to contact his insurance to authorize an at home sleep study. After 5 weeks he was finally given the equipment with the assurance that everything was taken care of, only to get a bill from his insurance a week later saying that they don't cover an at home sleep study and that he owed $400.
