The front desk team at Optum is absolutely fantastic! They were super friendly, welcoming, and made my check-in quick and easy! I am not giving the office staff a 1...they were lovely and made me feel totally comfortable. I am giving their billing department a 1. I was told by the office that there was a $95.00 out of pocket payment IF my insurance did not cover the test, but they did not take it from me at my appointment because they said that GHI typically covers it, and that as long as they paid out at least the $95.00 they were charging people without insurance, I would not have to pay anything. Typical example of the left foot not knowing what the right foot is doing. Avoid this place at all costs.
I see there are some negative reviews for this Optum radiology location but I will say this. I had an abdominal sonogram that started at 9:35 a.m. I was done by 9:55 a.m. and I got my results by 11:15 a.m. on the same day. You cannot beat that.
