Before I write the reason for my frustration… I would like to say, the tech staff is super… it’s probably the people who answer the phone at the mri dept are mean dismissive and incompetent! It’s been 10 days since my mri and they are unable to generate my report despite my continuous follow ups… standard answer, dr hasn’t signed it off… like how long does it take to get a sign off… despite me insisting, my doc is going on vacation and really need to get my report to her quickly… they couldn’t care less…oo and don’t even try... read more

I'm not sure where these negative reviews originated but this to me seems like the exception rather than the rule .. I have been here at Optum Bayridge location .. at least 4 times in the last few weeks for various tests. (CT Scans/ MRI ) They have been my go to for years . Everyone from the patient care coordinators Sabrina / & Holly who helped me with obtaining needed cd's / to the techs (Thomas is amazing ) personable and competent ! I hope those of you who have had a bad experience give them another go ...

OPTUM RADIOLOGY In Bayridge Brooklyn has been my go to for years and years . They are the ones who detected the smallest bit of my breast cancer in 2019 when it was at beginning stages. Now currently today - due to a fall (which I don't remember ) I'm here getting a CT Scan etc . And without going into too much details - let me say they are competent /ensuring a thorough complete test AND not only that but they ALL have great bedside manner ... So grateful for them especially THOMAS - CT tech & SABRINA Pt Care Coordinator !!... read more

Paid my $40 co-pay in cash at the time of my visit. Six months later, I am still receiving bills claiming the co-pay was never paid. Every time I call, they ask me for a receipt. After half a year, I obviously do not have a receipt. Very frustrating experience and poor record keeping. Patients should not have to keep proving they paid a co-pay months after their appointment because the office cannot properly track payments.
