If I could give this clinic a 0 star rating I would. Dr. Efrain is ALWAYS unavailable and his Nurse Practitioner Ybonne Boston knows nothing about prevention and LGBTQ+ health issues and is super uncompassionate with her beside manor. You're better off going to the DOH or an urgent care.
My parents have been going here for years and it doesn't get any better. The frond desk is rude. I have seen her treat other people badly as well. My father suffers from Parkinson's, dementia, and depression. It's a nightmare trying to get a referral for him. His other doctors have given him referrals to specialists and testing but due to the insurance we need the referral from the primary doctor. Staff are competent and nice enough, but it should not take an hour after the scheduled appointment time to actually be seen inside a room by the provider.
10/31/24 update- I am scheduled for surgery, I had called multiple times for this office to set up my medical clearance and verify the fax with my preop paperwork. I had been calling since Monday 10/28 but today I get a call from Sarah saying my cigna isn't working- well Sarah I've had Champva since 2023. They didn't even know i had champva all this time , I didn't receive anything saying they are no longer taking this insurance.
