Dr. Espana at Optum is an excellent doctor, very thorough and makes you feel very comfortable. I feel that, I am in very good hands with Dr. Espana.
I recently had my first wellness exam since enrolling in Medicare this year. Dr. Espana and I had a very thorough discussion going over my medical history. The doctor was very cordial, which as a patient is always appreciated. Based on our conversation he prescribed two new medications for me and also made a referral to have a hearing test.
Today I had an appointment with Cardiology. I checked in downstairs at the concierge and then went upstairs to the cardiology waiting area, where there wasn’t a single staff member at the front desk. No greeting. No acknowledgment. Just an empty reception area. That alone wasn’t a big deal to me. What happened next is what should concern leadership.
