Once you can get an appointment I have some of the best doctors. It takes a while to establish relationships with many of the specialists. For the most part they are very caring. The length of time to get an appointment and the availability to talk to a real person on the phone are my only issues.
I was sent to Optum’s Yorktown office because my PCP in Somers left the group and apparently there was no alternate staff availability for an annual exam. I was naturally disappointed about having to change offices and providers but it quickly turned around when I got there. Much to my delight, I met with Subhanna Asrar-Kahn NP. Dr Yamada,Lisa and Maureen are absolute angels. Professionalism to the utmost. I worked at Montefiore,I know medical criteria. They are a team that gets the patient to the appt, takes care of me,and leaves me satisfied when I leave. What else can I say. THANK YOU FOR CARING FOR ME. CANT SAY ENOUGH.
