I had a very disappointing experience at this medical facility today. I had a confirmed 1:00 PM appointment with the endocrinologist. I even called the office at 9:46 AM to double‑check that I would be seen on time because I needed to pick up my children from school at 2:00 PM. Great seamless operating systems for providing top-level care.
I’ve been using Optum in Lake Success for many years. I’m 70+ years old and retired. I like the campus with all of the medical services in the various buildings within close proximity. Plenty of parking, free, and the facilities are clean accessible for all. I’m happy with my doctors and the portal that gives my complete access to my information and doctors’ notes. All in all, I’m in pretty good shape for my age and I credit my doctors for keeping me going.
After reading her great reviews, I booked an appointment. I waited about a month or so to be seen. I felt uncomfortable with her and was treated like why are you even here to see me? I got a brief note about my bloodwork on the portal.
The staff is excellent and very attentive. Niema help-ed me with my prescriptions and is always wonderful and caring. Dr Schwarz is an excellent doctor. Would recommend to everyone.
