I have been trying to get my iron infusions scheduled since may. First I was told they didn’t get the test results. They were sent with the referral. They said they would call me once they got them. Never got a call back. I have had to call every step of the way and still haven’t been scheduled. Anytime I call I get told someone will call me back. It shouldn’t be this difficult to get scheduled.
Doesn't answer phones. Doesn't communicate well with doctors, patients, or insurance. This place has been horrible. The intake staff is the worst I've ever dealt with. They say insurance is the problem and its been approved. They also will say the doctors office hasn't faxed documents when they have. Paperwork just sits without any communication. I have been to this place at least a dozen or more times and when it was wasatch infusion it was great but now that it is Option care its worthless. They NEVER answer the phone and they lose your referrals and once they get it, (the 3rd one sent) they say they are waiting for it to be reviewed! I waited 5 months with no appointment. I will never go back!
I have had a horrible experience trying to get my infusion through this company, I’m currently asking my doctor to find a different infusion center. They have taken weeks to even SUBMIT an authorization to my insurance. Today I spoke with them and heard for the second time “well we have over 300 patients we work for”, honey I don’t care. Sounds like you need to hire more staff then so that people like me can receive their medication. Could not believe her attitude. Avoid this place if you can.
The nurses were great. The intake officer terrible. They kept me waiting for weeks for a scheduled infusion told me that my insurance was the hold up. Insurance had approved for a year and this was visit 3 insurance verified they sent nothing for another authorization even though option care claimed that was the hold up.
