I joined Optimus back in January 2025, at least 15 years after the last time I visited a gym. It was instantly welcoming and I have never been made to feel like I don’t belong there. The staff are friendly, encouraging and helpful. I particularly enjoy the classes and having attended classes with Nick who has recently qualified as a PT, am so pleased that he has taken on classes. Fantastic gym with great staff! The 6am vibe is such a positive way to start the day — welcoming, supportive, and full of energy. What I love most is that it’s not intimidating at all. People of all ages and fitness levels feel comfortable here. It’s a real “come as you are” place where you can just be yourself and enjoy the workout. Highly recommend!
Fantastic gym and amazing staff! Used this gym whilst on a long term job in Littlehampton and would definitely use it again if I'm working down here again in the future!
Came for the equipment stayed for the music! For me the tunes are the cherry on top, nothing worse than bad tunes too loud to drown out with headphones. This enables me to not use headphones and leave phone in car and really get stuck in. Really good atmosphere, not a single ego in the room, everyone friendly and polite.
