Optimum title caused us to lose $800 when we were required to pay previous owners water and garbage bills that they did not find when doing their search. They refused to help and open a claim. We were stuck paying deadbeats bills when we didnt even live in the state at the time. The were totally unhelpful in trying to resolve the issue and we had no choice but to pay someone else's bills that we knew nothing about.

I recently sold a condo in Condo on the Bay in Sarasota, Optimum Title was the closing agent and they were extremely helpful, very professional and the best team one can have as back up. Not happy with the way they mis-handled my sale. Told me $1600 (approx) for my seller closing costs, At closing I paid $3400! Double! Buyer paid only $217. Never again would I use them!
