Being new to the area, I’ve had to try to find several staples, I.e., good barber, doctor, etc. One of those is also a good gym. I went to several in the area, and none quite fit what I wanted. Optimum was the last gym I visited, and I hit everything I was looking for. For me, it’s in a great location close to work. But, for anyone interested in the general aesthetics, the place is very clean, including the locker room. I can only speak for the men’s locker room, but I imagine the women’s is clean as well. This gym is immaculately clean, and the staff was kind, courteous and welcoming. When I walked in there was a class for some kids beginning and I thought it was awesome to see some professional training for the next generation and getting them into fitness and exercise early. The bathrooms were very nice and they have all the equipment you could need for a full bodybuilding work out, as well as equipment and space for athletic style training.
