Dr NYGEN replaced both of my knees! Great job. ! I am very grateful!
I called today to make an appointment after hearing good reports from friends that had been there. Was told in very clear terms they would not see me unless I needed a knee or hip replacement. The guy was not interested in any details of my knee injury or helping in any way. He said “we can’t help you here”. Really unusual and just awful service. (Additionally they don’t respond to appointment requests via their online appointment booking tool on the web site).
Worst experience ever with all staff especially main office and PA; never follow thru, never return phone calls, three years and knee worse than before replacement and our insurance doesn’t cover his practice any longer; wonder why? Nightmare!
Be prepared to wait. They had me waiting for 45 minutes until I said something to the receptionist how long I've been waiting. She went in the back and the office manager/clinical nurse escorted me to the exam room. I asked her how much longer and she couldn't give me an answer. I told her that the doctor wouldn't wait an hour for me. A total disrespect for my time. They seem like they double booked patients and didn't allocate for lunch.
I had a total knee replacement now my right leg is 5/8" longer then the left. Thats ridiculous dr. Martinez just did not care. Of course I was his last patient of the day,,,, now I have to buy custom shoes or suffer back problems, hip problems, knee problems,,,,,
