Dr. Katherine Birchenough is a very smart and insightful doctor. She is interested in discovering root issues as opposed to just treating symptoms. Long term wellness is her goal for her patients. Her office space downtown is convenient and very comfortable. Appointments are easy and her staff is very friendly and helpful.

I am so happy and thankful to God for finding Dr Katherine! She is extremely intelligent, kind, professional, patient and listens to the patient's concerns. Just tried to do a walk in but was not welcome. The nurse was not very nice and seemed tired. I went last year and it was fine. I do not think I will ever come back. Not recommended. 50/50 good vs bad experience. Not worth it.
I have not had a chance to visit Dr. Katherine at OptimalSelf MD yet, but her husband Dr Shawn Birchenough is great! I had a double mastectomy with Reconstruction due to DCIS this past Wednesday and I was able to come home in Thursday. I am so amazed, along with my family and friends at the great job done. Dr. Katherine has been treating my 10 year old daughter for over 2 years and I can honestly say she has been an answer to prayer! All of the staff is wonderful, the skincare products are better than any others that I’ve ever used and the dermablading and chemical peel service and results are amazing!
