I can not speak highly enough of Dr jay, he has restored my faith in Doctors. I have never felt rushed and have always felt heard, he follows up when he says he will and will dig deeper and not just give standard responses. A special mention to Michelle on front desk, always smiling always super happy and helpful

Recent experience: The reception staff did not explain that there is no bulk billing for GP visits. On our second visit, we were charged a total of $120. When we questioned this, we were told that it was mentioned in the new patient form. However, at all other GP practices we have attended, consultations are bulk billed, so this charge was unexpected. If Optimal Health Leppington charges patients for standard GP visits, the reception staff should clearly explain this to new patients upfront, as money does not grow on trees. ... read more

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Dr Jay is very professional and listens to what you have to say and explains everything in a manner that you can understand. I have been seeing him for about a year now and he has identified a few things that needed attention that have now been addressed in a timely manner. One of the “things “ was a 90 percent blocked artery in my heart. I believe Dr Jay helped me dodge a bullet”

I see Dr Jay Stevens and Dr Nausheen Ahmed as available for both my 15 month old and myself. The level of care we have received for both of us over the last year and a half gives me the confidence to come back each time. Both of them take the time to respond to your concerns ans research causes before providing a conclusive response. Im grateful that we have this level of care in easy access.
