Personable and likeable counsellor I saw was simply incompetent at his job and had more issues than I have. The back office administration is also incompetent, with unapologeticly terrible service. The owner of this business, Bill Dodds, Des Moines, should be in prison for fraud. Cheats his employees on pay and hires the poorest calibre people. If there is anyone good, they are booked out and doing the job out of the goodness of their heart, despite the black heart of the owner. Do not use Optimae under any circumstances

Here you can get first-hand exposure to second-hand smoke. They provide illegal smoking with illegally placed ashtrays on their property. They think they are above the rules and regulations of the Iowa Smokefree Air Act.

BEWARE!!! The staff at this facility smoke illegally. All they care about is themselves, not following state laws that were established to prevent lung cancer.

They are still identified on the web as Optimae Life Services, which gives one the wrong number. The wrong listing means one has to go there directly. Upon approaching the building, I find the entrance is blocked, directing me around the corner and down that block. This creates a problem for one experiencing intense chronic pain. When I get there, I find I may not qualify for certain services. Which means, I could have avoided this entire trip if I had been able to locate the proper phone number. Employees at the Burlington facility smoke ILLEGALLY on the sidewalk outside the front entrance. Complaints to the corporate office are NEVER receive a response. You'll never have the same staff member for long because they are underpaid and find employment elsewhere.
