My husband was not informed prior to the appointment that there was an out-of-pocket cost. We had asked ‘does he just bring his Medicare card to the appointment?’. We were told yes. No mention of any other cost. We had naively assumed all eye examinations were bulk billed, as I’ve never been charged in the 42 years of being tested every 2 years. I thought costs for service were to be communicated prior to an appointment. We didn’t see any signs stating a cost either. Service was otherwise good my husband said.
First optometrist I've been to in the past 20 years that are as thorough, professional, informative, helpful and brilliant. Thank you. Have been disappointed too many times. Zahn and crew are highly recommended.
Most racist treatment I’ve ever experienced. I walked in and said I was looking into buying some contact lenses, the man at the shop first sentence was Are you Australian? While I didn’t know why that mattered, I asked, what, why? He then proceeded to tell me they are a local business and mostly service the local community. When I said I live in the same community he said people from abroad come to buy lenses and they can’t service them.
