An absolute hidden neighborhood gem… out of every review I’ve written this place deserves it the most. Nothing but absolute love for this place. The owner Larry is incredibly kind, generous and easygoing. He gives some amazing discounts and the glasses are always going to be cheaper than anywhere else. He’s also incredibly flexible with his work, he can fix glasses, turn them into polarized sunglasses, find out your prescription by giving him old lenses etc. And he will do all that in front of you in less than five minutes. ... read more

The other reviews are all correct. I needed to get transition lens + high index (So, the glasses are thinner vs. thicker, and they can also turn slightly darker outdoors in the sunlight). This is because I've recently been having sensitivity to light/dark contrasts, along with the harsh glare of the sun on cars, and just super bright car headlights in general...
