Over the years I have purchased glasses at The Optical Shop and have been very well taken care of. They have a terrific selection and a professional staff. Recently I broke my prescription sunglasses, the following day my husband broke his glasses. Yikes, two in two days! Let’s go see Ethan Brown at The Optical Shop, never thinking even one pair could be saved, but worth a try. Glory be! Mr. Brown repaired both pairs of glasses. We have always received excellent service, this visit felt like we won a prize. Thank you!

Bought new frame & lenses few months ago. Both arms fell off within days of eachother. Returned to inquire about defects & staff didn't even examine them. Just said "do you want to buy new frames, or new frames & lenses"? "How much?" "Frames start ~$200". I took my Rx to Warby Parker, the tech popped out the old lenses, chose a new frame, popped the lenses in, adjusted to fit, paid $75, walked out 20 min later!! Couldn't have been a better experience at Warby.

I have been a customer of the Optical Shop for several years and ran into a situation when my daughter needed 8 days worth of contacts to make it to her next doctor’s appointment. I called the shop, explained my situation and asked to purchase 10 days worth of contacts and was told no. He said I needed to buy a box of 90 contacts. I find that utterly ridiculous and unacceptable when I purchase over $600 of contacts per year. I didn’t purchase anything here, but my mom’s reading glasses broke and needed a new screw. I was willing to pay for the repair, but they replaced the screw free of charge and sent me on my way in 10 minutes. Great customer service and friendly. Thank you so much! I plan on bringing my glasses and future needs here.

I have been buying glasses and sunglasses from The Optical Shop for years ... long before they moved to the Stamford location. I'm always confident that my latest eye prescription is used for new glasses as their files are connected to all the doctors at Greenwich Ophthalmology. And the staff there makes it so easy to order replacement glasses or sunglasses over the phone when a pair goes missing. The customer service there is outstanding!
