I ordered glasses from Lackland Optical 27 days ago and still do not have them. Despite multiple follow-ups, I have not received any clear answers, no timeline, and no sense of urgency. I called on Saturday 12/13/25 and was told the lab still has my order. The young lady on the phone did not offer to call the lab, check on the status or to find out where in the process my order is even at. I was not offered any resolution but to continue to wait. Walked in today (Monday) around 1230 to look for new glasses for my kids. Managed to spend a minute or two at each brand’s display and even tried a few pair on. The young lady at the desk was kicked back looking like she was playing a game on her phone, never said a word. We walked out and took our business elsewhere.

Disclaimer, I have actually never had an appointment here. But I rate this place 5 stars for Debbie (the associate working the phone and presumably the front desk). I was in need for a prescription short notice and gave a call. Debbie notified me that an optometrist was unavailable for the day. I just assumed that that was that and I was going to move on. But instead, to my surprise, Debbie actually took the time to contact multiple local optometry clinics for me. She even went to the extent of calling clinics to ensure an a... read more
