PM Optals Healthcare of Sterling Hgts, Kevin Bandur has banned me from visiting my 95-year-old mother, who is under hospice care. This is solely because I inquired about the visitation protocol. This is the second time he has tried to ban me because I reported him to the state two years ago, and they found four violations. The first ban upset my mother greatly, so he let it go. Optalis health care of Sterling Hgts PLEASE never leave alive one there! can't even begin to tell you how disgusting this place is the lack of care with a staff that apparently is normal in nursing homes where they only give a crap about themselves and how less they can work and giving people what they need and lights going off and just now waiting for shift changed if someone else can deal with it my discuss is actually with the administrator Kevin Bondur and how evil of person is when all he cares about is making sure t... read more

I am sitting in this place for Ortho Rehab as I am writing this. If you care for your loved one, I recommend you steer very clear of this place. Not only are they understaffed they literally do not care about your needs and concerns. There are some great nurses and aides, therapists are good, but they are few. If you put your call light on prepare to wait 20-40 minutes to get a response. If you bitch enough some of the higher ups will come in and make a few promises that are not kept.
