The worst company to buy any kind of product for your telescop.I paid $6750 for a telescope dome on February 2023 and they said that they have only one person making them it will be 9 or 10 months before they can ship it to me.I called them to ask them for any information about it but nothing I sent them email Tex message left them messages but they never answered back.I used to call two of their employees but both of them were fired.customer support didn’t respond and they never called me back with any response.. well I thi... read more

I ordered the Radian Triad Ultra filter (which isn’t cheap) about a month ago from OPT that unfortunately went out of stock as I ordered. I was charged, and have been speaking with Teresa for a few weeks about a refund and haven’t had any progress. I’m not sure why it’s taking so long to process a refund. This is how you lose business.

Be aware that online orders will automatically opt you in to a "shippers protection" policy that if you don't opt out of during the check-out process, you will be charged a fee. If the purchase ships, it will be too late to cancel this bogus "insurance." It's borderline dishonest to opt customers into anything automatically - it does nothing but line the pockets of the "insurance" provider, at customer expense. While Opt Corp keeps this strategy in place, my business will be elsewhere.

Shop somewhere else. Their "Price Match Guarantee" is hardly a guarantee. I found a telescope for sale for much lower than they were selling it for and they would not price match it. Wouldn't even meet me halfway. Or a quarter of the way. The best they could do after a week of back and forth was $30 off. What a joke. The excuses they kept giving me didn't even make sense.
