Renting from OPR was the biggest mistake I made so far as a college student. They charge exorbitant rent and sneak extra fees into the lease (like $120 that will be automatically deducted from your security deposit per person no matter how clean you leave your apartment) while also ignoring nearly every maintenance issue until you persistently reach out. Today I moved my son out of his 1 bedroom apartment on Clarendon Street (2nd year location). I could not be more pleased with OPR Developers. All payments were scheduled and applied timely and emergency needs were addressed immediately! Being at a distance, there was no better arrangement I could have for my son at Syracuse University. I am sad to leave them as they have been just a great company to work with from the first experience through today. My first student rental experience could not have been any better. Chrissy at OPR was so helpful, responding to every request my daughter had prior to signing the rental. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. OPR was a great experience - no hassles, easy online portal, no issue with the return of the security deposit and they were always very responsive to any request. I highly recommend renting with OPR!
We just moved our daughter in for her upcoming Junior year and we were very pleased with the condition and size of the apartment for the amount they charge. It is very difficult to find decent housing off campus for a reasonable price. Crissy was great to work with and was very responsive.
