Recently I needed emergency care for a large traumatic wound and sought help at the French Hospital Emergency Room. I am in the medical field and have had many years experience with emergency rooms across the country as a participant in providing medical care but up until now never as a patient. All helpful including Care Connection ride home on first ER, and after 3rd ER, Sam a security guard gave me a cart ride to end of hospital property for just a short walk across the street back home. Tanner RN was especially friendly and helpful on my 05/24/2024 ER for rib pain, so I brought a bottle of Olde Shandon Port Works Syrah and Lou Ferrigno's favorite film "I Love You, Man" in thanks. Sam security guard delivered it for me.

Went to this ER a couple days ago, the staff was unprofessional except for one older nurse. I asked if I needed paper work to go home with the nurse said no then when I came in with my husband they stated I left without it. They scoffed like I was the problem. When they put the boot on my broken foot nurse was complaining about her own foot injury. Overall experience was not great.
