Open Sky Energy is a small company (Michael, Joe, and Jessica) that has been designing, installing, and repairing photovoltaic systems for 15 years. I first used them about 10 years ago on an inverter recall. At that time, they inspected the entire system and found a bad cell on one panel. They went to bat for me with the manufacturer which resulted in me getting all 40 panels replaced at no charge. Saved me a big headache and a lot of money. Amazing company. Small. Two guys who are passionate about what they are doing and that shows in the quality of their work and their care for their customers. Fantastic experience start to finish and since. I LOVE having solar panels (and electric bills that are essentially zero (just PECO fees) for most of the year, plus an occasional check in the mail! A great investment for our collective future.
The Open Sky Team is EXCELLENT. In 2010, I was listening to Science Friday on NPR when the host was interviewing a couple of young fellas about their solar installation business. My husband and I were interested in adding solar panels and Open Sky was local. Michael and Joe came out, along with two national installers for estimates. We were so impressed with Michael and Joe!
