Let me start this by saying that I am an agender, fat, queer person who does not feel comfortable getting naked in front of just anyone. Kahle is a fantastic bodyworker. After my first bodywork session with Kahle, I knew I wouldn't be going anywhere else as long as I am in Durham. Kahle is so intuitive, attentive--I can feel him being super present to my body's unique needs and pains. He is super strong and able to offer my body the deep pressure that it needs. I have chronic neck pain from a car accident and seeing Kahle regularly keeps my neck loose and largely pain-free. My massage with Kahle was so healing. As a Very Fat genderweird person there can be a lot of fears, hesitations, or anxieties around getting a massage. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better first massage experience. I felt so safe, so cared for, and comfortable in Kahle's space. I felt like the table was big enough and supported me well. I am not big on reviews unless service is truly exceptional. As someone who works on their feet for 8-9 hours a day, my body is constantly riddled with aches and pains. Over the past several months, kahle has been treating me with massage. I am continuously blown away by the care and commitment kahle shows in his work.
