We hired Open Door to do an extensive interior remodel of our house in Sunset Hills. They completely remodeled our entire first floor and our main (master) bathroom. It involved taking down walls, installing structural beams, drywall, lighting, flooring, painting and almost everything else. I thought they were professional and communicated well. As with any large project, there were a few hiccups, but they stayed with it and we are very happy with the results.
Fantastic company to work with. They are very upfront about pricing and costs. They will share every cost and sub-contactor price with you along with a portal where you can view everything. They allow you to pick items or vendors for specific parts of your project from anywhere you want. Highly unethical business practices including blanket billing and "hidden" fees. Expect your Actual vs Est to be 2x or 3x+! Don't trust these guys. Don't walk; RUN from Open 'Checkbook' Homes!! *Edit* 1 screenshot added for proof; since they replied. A) Agreement was for 2 projects; 2nd was cancelled. We are using Open Door Homes to remodel our master bathroom. These guys have been great from the start. The app/platform they use is very helpful and makes for very timely responses. Every time I have a question or request, they've responded the same day. The open line of communication has been key during this process.
