I have only good things to say about Dr Mathew Oommen. He is very knowledgeable, extremely thorough, dedicated and understanding. Very helpful and hard-working. He really goes the extra mile to get to the bottom of things. I feel my health is in very capable hands. I can only recommend him. I perceive him to be a true asset to Open Door Health. Not so good. Dr Oomen is opinionated and goes beyonf his knowledge base in offering advice. He is also unhelpful when it comes to writing certificates. He told me that dietary Vitamin D requires sunlight in order to be converted to a usable form in the body, which is false. He told me that dietary interventions are useless to address cholesterol, but also, straight afterwards, that eating too much cholesterol can cause cholesterol problems, apparently noticing no contradiction here.
