dealing with the billing department made me need additional therapy alone. there had been a miscommunication over the correct coverage being on file and i was informed my “new” copay was $110 per session. i hadn’t had any changes from the previous year but billing team was insistent on telling me i had new coverage. my copay was $20 a session so i cancelled immediately and within the cancellation time frame. i get a random charge for $190 a few days later, no one asked me my permission or confirmed the insurance. i’m very conflicted on this review because i loved my therapist at open arms wellness, i saw loryn for almost three years and only stopped because i moved away. she is incredible. but i had a very poor experience with the psychiatry provider i was assigned, cassandra turner. she was late to every visit i had with her and was obviously uninterested in anything i had to say. she would just read from a questionnaire, and would get visibly frustrated if my answers didn’t match what she expected. she also consistently neglected t... read more
The first provider I was seeing named Erin had no idea what she was doing. She had to refer to books for everything. I decided to try someone else and she was horrible. She only provided me with 35 minutes even though I paid for 55-60. I would not recommend. Find providers that care.
