Overall my experience was okay but I wish we would’ve focused more on the physical aspects of nursing. I feel like the appointments strayed from actual breastfeeding support to distracting and unnecessarily upsetting conversations. Roma’s tips differed compared to the lactation support I received after my visits with her which were more helpful. It’s hard not to feel frustrated at the wasted time. I cannot recommend Roma enough! As a first-time mom, I struggled a lot with breastfeeding in the beginning. My baby preferred the bottle, and I had to use a nipple shield for every feed. She cried a lot, even with a nipple shield. I couldn’t breastfeed directly for the first three weeks, and it was overwhelming and discouraging. Roma was incredibly supportive throughout the process. Roma is the best! She spent so much time with me and by newborn to get us on track with breastfeeding. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and gave me so much information as a first time mom. I was so glad to have her support and help.
Roma is simply the best. She is very knowledgeable and guide based on individual needs. Highly recommend her.
Highly recommend! Roma is personable and knows a lot of information. She continuously makes me feel good about my efforts and normalizes any hardships that I am feeling. Would recommend Roma for any lactation needs/goals!
