The building I'm in is about 13 years old. We have spent and are still spending hundreds of thousands on repairs—to fix faulty construction (mostly water ingress). We are being slugged with special levies to pay for it all. Some residents have mould issues, others have balcony tile issues. In my own apartment six (so far) double power outlets have had to be replaced, they just broke inside rendering the switches useless.
